What are some actual creative hobbies for adults who cant draw?
I want to do something creative with my hands but I have zero artistic talent. I cant draw a straight line and my handwriting is terrible. What are some creative hobbies that dont require existing art skills? Open to anything.

Adult who also can't draw here! Discovered tons of creative hobbies that require zero traditional "art talent." Here are my favorites:
Low skill barrier, highly satisfying:
1. Lego sets (adult ones)
- No creativity required - just follow instructions
- Incredibly satisfying
- Architecture, Star Wars, Botanical sets
- Costs: $50-300 per set
- Like paint by numbers but with tiny gems
- Very meditative
- Results look impressive
- $15-40 per kit
- Planes, cars, ships, Gundam
- Follow instructions, snap together
- Optional painting for more skill growth
- $20-100 range
- Surprisingly easy
- Great gifts
- Starter kit: ~$50
- Start with simple wallets/belts
- Very forgiving material
- Starter kit: ~$40
- Start with whittling or small boxes
- No drawing needed
- Satisfying to hold something you made
- No wheel needed
- Pinch pots, coil methods are intuitive
- Many studios offer classes
- Kits have patterns printed on fabric
- Just follow the lines
- Surprisingly chill
- Pour resin with colors/objects
- Physics does the art for you
- Makes cool coasters, jewelry, etc.
- Way easier than regular knitting
- Make hats, scarves easily
- $15 to start
2. Diamond painting
3. Model kits
Some creativity, still achievable:
4. Candle making
5. Leather crafting
6. Woodworking (basic)
7. Pottery (hand-building)
8. Embroidery
9. Resin art
10. Loom knitting
My personal favorite:
Pottery classes. Zero drawing ability needed. Making something functional with your hands is incredibly satisfying. Most cities have studios offering beginner classes for $25-40.
The truth: "Artistic talent" is mostly practice, not innate ability. Pick something that sounds fun, accept that your first attempts will suck, and enjoy the process.
