How do I actually stick to working out when I have zero motivation after work?
I work a desk job 9-5 and by the time I get home I just want to crash on the couch. I've tried morning workouts but I'm not a morning person at all. I've had gym memberships I've wasted money on multiple times. What actually works for people who hate exercise?

I was exactly like you for years. Here's what finally clicked for me:
1. Go directly from work - don't go home first
This was the game changer. I keep my gym bag in my car and drive straight there. The second you sit on that couch, it's over.
2. Start embarrassingly small
I committed to just 15 minutes, 3x per week. That's it. Some days I did more, but 15 minutes was the minimum. It removed the mental barrier.
3. Find something you don't hate
I tried regular gym stuff and hated it. Then I found a climbing gym and actually look forward to going. Maybe try swimming, basketball, or group classes.
4. Get a workout buddy
My coworker and I started going together. When you know someone's waiting for you, you're way less likely to bail.
5. Track your progress
I use a simple app to log workouts. Seeing the streak builds momentum.
I've been consistent for 14 months now. It took about 6 weeks before it felt like a habit. You got this.
