I've been working as a software developer for a few years now, and I'm looking to explore other ways to use my programming skills to make some extra money. I've always been interested in trading, but I have no experience with it at all. I've heard that there are many trading platforms and APIs out there that allow you to automate trades using code, which sounds really appealing to me.
I've done some research and found a few platforms that seem promising, but I'm not sure where to start. I've got a basic understanding of programming concepts, but I don't know anything about trading or finance. I'm worried that I'll make some rookie mistakes and lose money if I'm not careful.
