How can I make learning general knowledge more engaging for myself?
I've been trying to improve my general knowledge for a while now, but I'm finding it really hard to stay motivated. I feel like I'm just reading a bunch of random facts and figures, but not really retaining any of it. I've tried using flashcards and watching educational videos, but nothing seems to be working for me.
I think part of the problem is that I'm not really seeing the relevance of what I'm learning to my everyday life. I'm not sure how knowing the capital of a certain country or the date of a historical event is going to help me in my career or personal relationships. I feel like I need to find a way to make learning more interactive and fun, but I'm not sure where to start.
Does anyone have any suggestions for how I can make learning general knowledge more engaging for myself? Are there any specific resources or techniques that have worked for you?
