How can I balance my coding work and personal life as a remote programmer?
I've been working as a remote programmer for about a year now, and while I love the flexibility it offers, I'm finding it increasingly difficult to separate my work and personal life. Since I work from home, I often find myself working long hours, sometimes even on weekends, and it's taking a toll on my relationships and overall well-being.
I've tried setting a dedicated workspace and schedule, but it's hard to resist the temptation to just quickly check my work email or make a few changes to the code when I'm supposed to be taking a break. I'm worried that if I don't find a better balance, I'll end up burning out or losing touch with my friends and family.
So, I was wondering if anyone has any tips on how to maintain a healthy work-life balance as a remote programmer? Are there any specific strategies or tools that have worked for you? Can you also recommend any resources or books that might help me set boundaries and prioritize my personal time?
