Do programming professionals really need insurance to protect their code and projects?
I'm a freelance programmer and I've been working on various projects for the past few years. Recently, I've been thinking about getting insurance to protect my work, but I'm not sure if it's really necessary. I've heard of cases where programmers have had their code stolen or their projects sabotaged, and it's made me a bit paranoid about the security of my own work.
